I Have been in contact with Ebay several times regarding the new policy of posting the items youve sold first then having to wait 2 days to recieve your money. I Dont and Will NEVER Agree with this new fangled idea.Ive Been with Ebay for over 9 years have been a buyer and a seller,I have a 100% Score and have always paid when buying something and got my money straight away when selling items. There is NO Way i am posting anything without the funds being securely in my account !! If Ebay insist on using this New rule i will delete my account and will Not be back. And Whats this other new rule where i Have to pay the postage as well? This Is NONESENSE and i am Still waiting to hear from Ebay{Who Have Suddenly gone very quiet} Does anyone else feel the same way about this new system? Let Me Know? Ebay either go back to the old system or myself and many many others will be leaving. Still Heard NOTHING From Ebay !!!!!

"go back to the old system"
When i started i had to wait a minimum of 8 working days before i got my payment, sometimes up to 14 days.
"E Cheques" ???
I had to pay for postage up front.
As a new seller your payments can be held for up to 30 days,it's all about the MBG.
Stating "no returns" means little because of it.
Those were the "good old days",i never had a a problem with it.🙄

The payout speed should be influenced by your eBay account age & feedback score. New accounts I totally agree with the longer payouts for security reason. Established accounts shouldn't have to wait so long for funds. From 6th of August 2025, it is my understanding payout speed has been increased to 24 hours. This is an significant improvement.
Overall, the new eBay buyer fee's, pay-out speed & simple delivery are awful. I hope they continue to offer improvements to these. eBay copying Vinted's system is a very poor choice and has no doubt resulted in a huge drop in users.

eBay seems to have replied indirectly, as the released funds period is about to halve.
see Help > Payouts > August 2025 updates to funds availability for private sellers.
To be clear, your account has the funds for each sale, but they are not available / cleared for payout for 24h (see above).
Also you do not have to pay postage. You can set your items to Buyer Pays.
