I am an experienced seller but these new eBay rules have me flummoxed. I have sold some speakers, the buyer made me an offer proviso being that I paid the P&P which was advertised as £50 for the buyer to pay. However despite this eBay took the £50 off the buyer which I refunded to them and I don't seem to be able to get this back from eBay. So I arranged the courier as stated in my advert. These are very heavy, big loudspeakers, so none of the eBay postage options were appropriate plus I wanted to insure them and be confident they arrived safely. They were delivered and the courier provided proof but I have not received payment. The buyer doesn't seem to want to communicate with me and speaking to eBay customer services they say that although they can see that the courier has delivered the speakers because it has not been updated on the site to show delivered I now have to wait a week for my funds. My courier has no access to eBay they are not even aware that it is an eBay sale - crazy. This just seems to be a scam so that eBay can hold onto funds and get the interest. This does not help sellers at all.

The new rules are quite clear and straightforward.
Unless you have tracking proving delivery, you get paid 14 days after a sale, so on day 15.
Unless you use a courier which has online tracking that you can add to the sale, Ebay do not have evidence of delivery and won't pay out.
The £50 you refunded to the buyer will be included when the payment from the buyer is released by Ebay.

when sending the old way with RM and with untracked post, you got a delivery confirmation on eBay , for parcels and sometimes for large letters
wonder if that has been stopped , don’t see why 🤷🏼but if not , surely that would not have to make a seller wait two weeks ?

So if you use custom postage and say chose rm 2nd class parcel untracked, has anyone had delivery confirmed on their orders? On eBay I mean
