Forgot to get collection code

Hi There,

I sold an item today but didnt realise I needed to get a collection code. The buyer has paid for the item already but I cannot receive the funds. I have sent him a message, but had no response.

How does Ebay process these? Will the funds be released after X time or will they be sent back to the buyer despite having picked up the item?

You will get the payment but ebay will hold onto it for up to 21 days.

Hi there everyone who may have made the same mistake...I  too never realised that a QR or number would be required. I have made many attempts to contact the buyer and for some reason failed to reply!!

What I really found irritating was how confusing and annoying trying to use EB help and contact when asking about my problems with this particular issue. No options available so went in circles frustratingly...needs updating and attention!
