Ebay seller protection fees

Regarding ebay seller protection fees, when a private seller lists an item for £20 then it should be displayed at £20, as it is ebay are adding the seller protection fee to the sellers price thus inflating a sellers £20 asking price into a £21.50 asking price, surly any fees should be shown separately and clearly as what they actually are, an ebay stealth tax on buyers.

Re: Ebay seller protection fees

The breakdown of that Buyer Protection Fee is shown at checkout for the buyer.

It may well change to be shown on the initial listing,  who knows,  this new rule seems to be changing somewhat, in a regular fashion.

Re: Ebay seller protection fees

Cant understand your complaint,

You are a business so i doesn't effect your items.

What you sell for is what is advertised,

This is a private seller problem only,

I don't agree with the BP also don't agrees private can sell for free.

But its not my site its eBay's.

Live long and prosper
