Ebay do it again!

So yet again ebay make it even harder to access your funds firstly it was a move from PayPal where you got your money immediately then it was through their payment system which you had to wait until the next day earliest to receive funds (that's if you have a fast processing bank like mine) now they won't release your funds  for at least a day holding onto people's money what a bunch of scammers, I'll be selling elsewhere from now on I'm sick of ebay & their scam tactics

It doesn't necessarily take at least a day for funds to be released, it can be anytime within 2 days (payment holds aside) as evidenced by the poster in this thread:

It will likely depend on how established the seller is (frequency of sales) and possibly on how the buyer pays, PayPal or Card.  Card payments take 2 days to process (reach fulfilment).

As far as I can see, it works the same as it did before - you just need to withdraw manually, which takes a couple of clicks.

The funds are showing as processing I have no ability to withdraw! Do you think I would have made this post if it was that simple 🤷

You still need to wait for the funds to finish processing then, instead of them being sent automatically to your bank account, you will have the option to withdraw them or leave them in your eBay balance for future use.

I'm fully aware of that, it usually processes in minutes not takes a whole
day! I know how Ebay works I've been using it since they began

I sold something earlier tonight aswell and the funds are still processing. Usually instantly clear. Saying will be available today but isn't much left of today!

I'm not posting without confirmed funds so ebay need to sort this. 

Ironic it's on the day they've changed all the payments that it's glitching already!

When Ebay started payments were never instant,it was usually around 8 days or longer if buyer paid by e-cheque which could bounce.

Nowadays it's a bit like starting a new job and being paid in lieu.

Funds are sitting in " Balance" with NO withdraw option available - how is that helping? If we cannot withdraw " cleared" funds then who benefits? 

Previously like the OP stated - straight to paypal and then we had the control to withdraw to bank... instantly. 

Then, payments sent via eBay clearing in my bank account in one day. 

Changes made as of 16th and there is NO withdraw  option available so funds just sitting in " balance".. how does that help seller or buyer? Why shoudl anyone post an item when they have not received the funds? It is bizarre! Question is... who benefits?
