Ebay Tracking & payment problems

Two items sold recently.
Item #1 - delivered 12 Feb.

Royal Mail Tracking shows it as 'Delivered'
Ebay payment status = Pending - Awaiting delivery

Item #2 - delivered.
I know this as the buyer has left feedback.
Ebay payment status = Pending - Awaiting delivery

There doesn't seem to be a mechanism to get the statuses updated, thus releasing payment.

Very frustrating. The system, as was, worked fine. Now it doesn't.

Same here, sold items over 2 weeks ago, delivered as positive feedback left.....not even showing as dispatched in my payment page. Postage on both occasions was through ebay's platform.

Took all my items off sale, any ebay alternatives?

Can't even find a phone number to ring to sort out issue, the automated help is about as useful as the proverbial chocolate fireguard

Royal Mail tracking is sometimes not in sync with eBay's tracking, and the latter is the most important for releasing a faster payout,  that is,  2 days after the delivery date.

If you have found your tracking has not updated,  therefore holding back your payout,  contact eBay Customer Services, provide the tracking showing delivery, ask if they can kindly release your payout now as 48 hours have passed the delivery date.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Get ebay to call you here eBay Customer Service have them look at the tracking on the royal mail website and confirm it has been delivered.

They should be able to  release the fund for you.

It all part of these changes I'm afraid no tacking no funds for 14 days, in this case not update of the tracking. With a tracking update you get paid in 2 days after delivery ( paid = release of funds)

There are more, your things are now getting a BUYER FEE added to them, ebay get that not you.

And soon simple delivery will not be an option for private accounts.

not listing again till I’ve got my money which will apparently be after 14 days!

managed to fool the system and did a listing to let my “followers” know what’s going on…can’t believe I have 2 watchers on the non existing item!!

I too am looking for another platform if anyone has any ideas?

it’s possible to get a live chat through the automated system…put in agent …that did it for me!

I contacted eBay with tracking and had buyer confirm delivery but eBay still wouldn’t give me my money!

I have had the same problem and have several hundred pounds owed to me. I requested a call-back and was told that anything with positive feedback that was still showing as 'pending-awaiting delivery' would be released. Was it? Not at all. What a waste of time that was.

They SO gave you the wrong information, unless.....

Feedback left, now only qualifies for payouts to be released sooner if they are for items of a value of £10 or less.

Items above that value , then tracking must show delivery, feedback received will not count here, and your payout is released 2 days after that delivery date.

With no tracking showing delivery,, then the payout is released after 14 days.

The above are the new rules for Private sellers.

Who did you speak to?  You should only speak to Dublin who are most likely to answer when lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays.

If you do have tracking showing delivery and 48 clear hours ( it's timed to the second) have passed contact CS again only at the time above, to inform them of the tracking status and can they please now release your payout.

I went through the chat system...managed to bypass the AI by putting "agent" in and got a real person.  They still wouldn't pay me!!

I phoned on two successive days last week at 8am and didn't get Dublin. 

It's frustrating being a seller presently and I only sell the odd thing. We should not be having to jump through new hoops to get our money.

I managed to get through to a real person, who just apologised and told me not to worry!

I am now get customers making an offer which seems fair, then they take the dreaded Customer protection fee off. Its all getting a bit difficult to sell on here. Ive get a business accoubnt as welll and the fees are impossible.
