I am having problems with the new e-bay balance system. I have funds cleared and available for withdrawal but the system doesn't appear to be working and I can't withdraw my money. I have contacted E-bay by telephone and the agent I spoke with has passed the information I gave him to the I.T. team. I find this all very frustrating as the previous system worked perfectly and by now my funds would have been in my bank account. For information, as I explained to the agent, I can get a page up showing my funds are available for withdrawal. I can then tap on withdraw and another page comes up that seems to freeze showing a zero balance. At the bottom of this page there is a bit that says "send my money now" but as the page appears frozen this does not respond. This problem happens on both my laptop and on the E-bay app. I have been a member of E-bay for about a year and have been very pleased with the way things operate up until now! So I would very much appreciate a swift resolution to my issue.

I just spent an hour online chat with first the Ai, then an agent, then a tech guy. Guess what? Zoom out of the screen where the option to withdraw should be, in that pop up window offering you everything except withdraw, and there it is, underneath.............problem solved at last. I've suggested they put that information with the rest of the rubbish instructions we've all been trying and failing to follow.

an hour on chat to a tech guy after an agent and geting past the AI - solution, zoom out of the screen when you get to the options for using your balance, and there it was underneath everything despite it not showing on the normal screen. Reduce the size on your screen was all it took in the end. OMG.

It must be by design so they can earn more interest.

ooh you cynic, I did say that myself, if we all struggle to get paid they get to keep our money longer, so it's payback for dropping the fees..........also discrimination against people not using the app as seems virtually everyone on the app had no problem and just dinosaurs like me on laptops had trouble. But imagine the technical wizardy (and total lack of product testing or whatever) when making your screen smaller works and that's apparently the only solution........

Are you using Safari on a Mac by any chance - It does not work... Ebay Tech are aware but so far no solution... I had to use an alternative browser to withdraw payments.

As long as there are no holds on your payouts, Manged Payments has been fully set up, and your payout is showing as Available in your Payment Summary follow this to withdraw your payout:
Click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on the > arrow, top right you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
Your eBay balance will show at the top, cliick on withdraw bottom right.
On the pop up screen which appears, at the top, there's a large, bolder £ sign, and flashing sign beside it. There, you add the amount you wish to withdraw. At the bottom.... Send £*** Now click on this.
A notification appears... Your Money is on its Way. Click on this and then on Done.
Money is then sent to your nominated bank account and it will depend on your banks processing times, as to when you are able to withdraw the money. Some banks are faster than others.

I had a lengthy conversation with Ebay to report this , as it appears that Safari does not work to withdraw payments and has not since day one of the new system.
Ebay Tech are aware , yet still not resolved.
It is a pain...

Thanks. I was unable to withdraw through the app (and going on Chrome on a phone just keeps forcing you back onto the app), but a laptop with the above instructions worked for me.

Hi
Have you actually typed in the amount you wish to withdraw? You should see a large £0.00 and you click on the space after the last 0, delete the 0.00 and type the amount you wish to withdraw. I apologise if you know this & it's still not working but I thought I'd mention it in case.
Good luck

But most money is digital. How do you work this one? Say you get paid from your workplace, it goes into your bank as an increase in digits. Nobody from your workplace takes a wad of cash to your bank. Yet you still get interest on it. If you get benefits paid from the DWP the same. This is how money moves now. To put money in your savings account you simply electronically send it from your current account to your savings account. It's just digital. You get interest on these savings. I have no idea what you're saying. Of course eBay will get interest on it while it's in their accounts. They now don't automatically pay out to your bank according to your set schedule. They wait until you physically withdraw it. This is how they can now afford to allow private sellers to accrue no fees (apart from various fees I've accidentally discovered such as they take money if you end a listing early to help out a buyer) (They listed it as ended to Sell To Highest Bidder, yet it did not sell. The listing ended & went into my Unsold list so it cost me 5% for absolutely nothing. I shall speak to them once Help has reopened following Christmas)
