Bank account verification/direct debit issue

Hi all, 

 

Bank account verification has been ongoing since 28th of May when the 0.01p was deposited. I contacted EBay via live chat and they can see it is ongoing and the 0.01p was deposited, but to contact my bank for support with the direct debit set up. I looked on my banking app and the direct debit agreement isn’t there.

 

surely nothing my bank can do if EBay hasn’t sent the signed direct debit to them right?

 

do I go back to EBay and ask them to resend it or remove my bank account and start the process again, if that’s even possible.

Speak to Customer Services as to how to proceed here, it may be the best option for them to send 2 more micro deposits,  but see what they say.

 

I strongly recommend contacting them only very first thing in the morning when the lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. on weekends as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

 

It's a Call Back option,  so you'll hear if it's the dulcet tones of the Emerald Isles, only speak to Dublin !

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
