Complete albums with scores, god or bad?

Hi fellow Paninista's!

I have 5  Panini completed albums and one in progress. One of which has some scores written in. I just wanted to see what other collectors think about albums with scores or other handwritings inside. Does anyone think this diminishes the value of the album by having scores written inside?

In my opinion, I prefer without scores but I would trade off having scores to get an album with as best condition front and back cover.

I would love to hear other opinions from collecters out there.

Hi Nicholas pal personally i tend to go for albums that have no writing in them at all as these do appear to sell better between collectors. I have bought albums that look as if a 2 year old has written in! - which is annoying when it has stated in the description "NEATLY WRITTEN IN" - pah. I recently bought a Columbion edition of USA 94 -

Wow that is a super rare Panini album! never seen that version before. Good price too at $75USD.

Yeah look I agree too, I do prefer no writing but sometimes you just cant avoid it. LOL your right too about the handwriting, some of it looks like a 2 year old alright!

The guy has sent me additional photos of the first one, looks very nice except there are two arrows dran inside one of the pages. The second one, I have asked the guy on previous occassions to email some additional photos but alas nothing.

Hi Nicholas pal tbh i hadnt seen that version of USA 94 myself before buying it (was a buy it now btw) and the condition of it looks really good. There is another one on sale on Ebay International at the moment but appears to be in a worse condition and without the inserts attached. I have seen an Italia 90 colombian edition before a few times but never this.

Your two Argentina albums both look good with the first one giving good photos of it - suppose down side is the number of stickers required to complete it (if thats what your plan is). Again no writing in it is quite rare for this album so definetely worth a bid. The second album looks really promising too with just a few needed to complete it and appears to be in really good condition. I suppose the writing does take the shine off a wee bit but again a really good item to bid on - be good to have more photos of it.

I only have 1 Argentina 78 album in my collection so far and got it in a buy it now for £78 if i remember correctly - and although its 100% complete the two you are considering are in much better condition.

Loads of things to take into consideration Nicholas lol!

Mate tell me about it! I hve been going nuts for the last couple of months trying to get a Arg 78 album. I think I have emailed a dozen people and asked to see photos left right and centre! Right now I have so many photos of these albums I am getting a headache!

Thanks for your valuable input on the albums. You are right on all counts. I like them both but I cant be bothered with the hassle and the cost of having to find 163 missing stickers. I like the fact that is has no scores but you cant have everything!

I think the other one might be the way to go, both are on great condition and it would have been nice to see more photos but like I said the guy just wont budge. He must have several of these cause he lists a new one every week!

Wow 78 pounds buy it now was not bad at all! Nice buy mate.

Tell me if you still think the album that needs only 7 is the better buy. Like I said I am going stir crazy!
