As my collection grows and grows im wondering if my current storage is the best it could be. I have my loose stickers stored in plastic pouches in a storage box. I have my albums wrapped in cling film and sealed in large brown envelopes. Where and how you you store your collection?
Alec 🙂

Wow you have a nice collection there mate.
I would take those elastic bands off the loose stickers though as they will damage them over time.
This is what I use to store my stickers,
I use these for loose bundles of stickers ebay no. 390344359398
these for the albums ebay no. 190300573517
I have started storing my loose sets in 8 pocket plastic sleeves then filing in a binder with slipcase
ebay no. 360257696413 - 8 pocket sleeves x 100
ebay no. 360339639361 - binder with slipcase and 30 x 8 pocket sleeves
I will have to post some pictures for you to have a look at.

Cheers Darren will take a close look at your suggestions. Your right with the rubber-bands they are coming off tonight lol. I have been on the look-out for ways to store my full-sets and your solution looks a good one. Alec 🙂

Hi Alec
If you mean the binder with slip case make sure he sends you the free 30 x 8 pocket sleeves that come with it. He is a good seller always well packaged and arrives in a couple of days.
It is a nice way of presenting them and you can look back at them in future years and remind yourself of old world cups/euros. The only problem is its expensive but worth it for the old sets that are worth alot.
He sends the 8 pockets sleeves that are made by a company called glenn they are good quality. Make sure if you buy the sleeves from anybody else they are the same as I have bought some different ones and they bent the stickers.

Albums came today and have to admit that they are great quality Darren so cheers for the heads up!. Unfortunately (I still dont know how i managed it!) i have managed to order the wrong plastic sleeves (i have checked it was my mistoke) I ordered the 10 pocket sleeve instead of the 8! Pah if anyone is interested in these let me know.

Just send them back to him he is an understanding guy. I am sure if you pick up the cost of postage he will help you out.
Just a thought the 10 pocket sleeves may hold the panini football 78/79 stickers as they were slimer stickers

Hi Alec
Have you started putting the stickers in the wallets yet?
Just wondered how you was getting on? I will have another 5 sets to do.
Cheers

Guys - I keep my actual stickers in plastic wallets that you get from Staples! However with the use of a low power sodering iron, a metal ruler and your wifes old wodden chopping board you can turn them into custom sticker holders.
Two pictures below show the results. First one is a close up and the second one gives you an impression of what you can do. You can effectively 'draw' the type of sticker enclsures you need . Each set is a bit different - small stickers/large stickers/portrait/landscape - with this method you can be creative and you can usually keep all the stickers for one team within one page.
if you email me at thesays@ntlworld.com I can send you some more examples of the results if you want.
Takes an age to finish a set but in the end the results are an airtight seal for all your stickers and then the pages can go into four ring binders. You do need to use the 79/80 micron wallets not the 30/40/50 as the soldering iron will burn through the thinner ones.

Stephen
