hello all i am trying to list an item for sale - have gone through filling all the boxes, but cant get draft advert to go live as it keeps coming up with the following message:

Looks like something is missing. Please fix any issues and try again.
but theres no box for location - other than my address - which shows on the advert preview as town & UK.
IF I CLICK the location link it goes to delivery section but theres nowhere to add location....if i go for the collection only option it shows town & postcode (not that to offer collection only - just postage - but it still wont go live...any suggestions gratefully appreciated as ive been trying for 3 days without any success!

Looks like you've returned to selling after a long break,  have you registered fully with eBay's Managed Payments?  Have you received 2 micro deposits and confirmed this back to eBay?

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services,  who have full access to your account,  and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.

 

I strongly recommend contacting CS 8 a.m. on a weekday when the lines open for ' live agents' as then, there's more chance of Dublin answering.

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

It's not easy to get through to CS, you just have to have perseverance! Instead of a quick option, 'Contact Us' which put you direct to a CS agent, you have to scroll past ' How Can We Help you today, to the very bottom and click on the Contact Us below Need More Help?

 

That takes you to an annoying AI bot but if you persevere keep asking questions it cannot answer and Insist on an agent, they do finally put you through and say .... waiting time ** minutes!
