selling to France

I have a buyer in France who can't follow the sale because he gets this message -  We are sorry, but the item you selected may not be purchased due to seller shipping restrictions or due to country-specific import/export or other relevant restrictions.{e253598-1250675x}"

I have ticked int sales box and this usually works

Any ideas?

Well I could perhaps understand it if it was an axe, or other sharp tool, but a plane.

Having had a look at your sold items, I wonder if the idiot robots objected to a word in the title. I cannot believe that a human made the decision.

It's the wood.

There are restrictions on exporting mahogany.

Have removed mahogany from listing and trying again!

It won't be mahogany that's the problem - it will be the term bullnose!

This will be eBay's famous AI at its best. What is prohibited from being exported to France are certain dog breeds, including Stafforshire Bull Terriers!

You could try describing it as s snub nosed plane? Nice little plane, by the way.

Potential buyer has recieved this message -

"This product can be bid on or purchased by only individuals aged 18 or older. As such, you’ll need to verify your age. You may also need to confirm your age upon delivery. For more details, see our {URL0}".

How does he do this in USA?

Ebay USA may be different,  but on UK site buyers need to add credit card to prove age.

Suggest to buyer they ask on ebay.com forum.
