eBay block all messages containing any contact details prior to payment. So it won't be possible for the buyer to see the watch until after they've paid. And if it's not listed for collection you need postal tracking to prove delivery.

NO,it's not the correct procedure,as you could loose your seller protection and item and money.
Buyer buys on ebay and pays on ebay, then you send the item tracked to show delivery and retain seller protection.If the item is not authentic the buyer can raise a return case on ebay citing not a described and you then provide a prepaid return label, refunding 3 days after you receive the watch back.
If the buyer simply doesn't like the item they pay to return.
Don't get "Scammed" by listening to what a buyer wants 😉
