why are gaming sellers of digital items  demanding and forcing buyers to give collection codes first before giving items its disgraceful how many people are getting scammed this way their should be a warning put in place explaining you don give code first and sellers need to understand this or lose accounts.

Actually pretty much every seller that sells these items does so in contravention of ebay policies.  Buyers also need to educate themselves on what protection they have, as they have none when buying digitally delivered items.

How does a buyer go and collect a digital item?

when you buy a digital item from a roblox seller they send you friend request and then you join them in game  but they ask for the code first ebay fails to stop sellers from doing this.

look at the policy posted by fargvs,digital items are sold as classified ads if they are allowed at all and there is no buyer protection any purchases are entirely at buyers risk

eBay has no affiliation with Roblox, I can't see how they can fail to stop buyers from doing this.
