this morning i won an auction for an item which was £0.99p and postage was £5.00. i put it in the basket, when i went to pay i noticed that the postage had changed to £25.00! i took a screenshot of the original page with the £5.00 postage. then i put in a request cancel and also contacted the seller but with no reply.
this evening i got a reminder to pay.
waiting for results of my request but what happens if the seller refuses to cancel??? any help / advice please

A screenshot of the checkout page showing the £25 postage would be useful.
Sellers can't change the price on the listing, but it can change depending on where you are. You can check this by clicking on the delivery tab on the listing.
Having checked, £25 is postage to the USA, did you ever have a US address or did you register on the .com site?
If you don't pay the seller can cancel for non payment and you get a strike.

I'm a bit confused here - you can't put an item that's on auction in your basket.
You can only put an item that's on fixed price Buy It Now listing into your basket.
