Hi

Why does my account say 

restriction when I want to buy something from Ebay?

We don't have access to your account, so you will either have to paste the message here so we can offer advice, or there could be a couple of other reasons:

Is your account set up correctly for purchases?

Is the item overseas and its prohibitied in the UK - hence the restriction?

Do you have previous unpaid strikes issued against you for non paid items? If you have more than two in the past year this could be the reason dependent on the sellers settings.

I have brought of here before so I am unsure why I wint let me I have checked my inbox messages and there is nothing there.

Is it happening on all purchases or a particular item hence the message?

Looking at your feedback, or rather lack of it, it would appear that this account may be restricted as there has been so little activity for over a year, as you state you don't use this account all the time. It may well be that eBay have put a hold on it, to protect you and everyone else eg if the account became compromised.

You may need to speak with customer services to lift any restriction if this is the case.
