refunds

So just had to cancel an order before item/s were posted Paid £281 was given a discount for postage £40 (refund)

So was expecting to get a full refund of £241 but have only been issued with another £40 so a loss of £201 out of pocket

Trying to contact eBay but can't get to chat with agent as don't want to have a call from them but their automated chat thing is only giving me the phone call option

I have also today lost another parcel due to EVRI saying item delivered but no one in or no safe place to leave it so will most probably get sent back to China   Tracking is useless all over the place as usual

I have had a nightmare month on eBay for Jnauary as had Ebay 7 refunds due to non delivery mainly click and collect wrong codes given

If only there was something else like eBay??????

Sick of eBay and also tried to close my account today but eBay have not responded

refunds

Buyers cannot cancel a purchase, they can only request seller to cancel, but seller is not obliged to cancel. Refunds can only be enforced by opening a case, just asking for a refund will not work unless seller is cooperative.

If seller does not post then once past the expected delivery date you can open a Not Received case to  get a refund. If seller then insists on posting you will have to open a return case when received.

Why did you BUY? Why did you then PAY? Sellers do find it annoying when buyers change their mind, it would be so much simpler just not to pay, and at worst get an unpaid strike.

You may have to wait until the latest delivery date showing on your order has passed and then open an item not received claim for each order.
