" Payments on hold for over 7 days

I am rather concerned .I sold two items 13-12676-68341 and 10-12681-81193 on 7th Feb. they were posted that day. I did not use tracking as costs to me is making it not worth while to bother selling. I contacted each buyer and they messaged me back confirming they have both received items days ago. I still have not had funds released. I am not very pleased about this.

 

Your new system brought in place on the 4th Feb is a big step back. Seeing the buyer is paying a protection supplement  why does the seller have to wait 2 days after proof of delivery? In my and other  users opinion it is over kill.. Also a lot of Ebay purchasers do  not acknowledge receipt of goods, so the seller has to start  messaging to get confirmation- also time consuming and unnecessary.

 

If sellers put the additional  feature of tracking this makes the cost of sending a small item go up from £1.55 to £2.70 and it is free postage, it hardly worth while selling .

I suggest, you release my pending funds asap. and change your payment pending system quickly, otherwise you will be loosing business.

You're not speaking with eBay here, here in this section we're experienced sellers/buyers but have no input with eBay policy.

 

There are lots of discussions about the new payment hold over on Seller Central if you want to join in there.

Later on in this month ebay are saying that items at £10 or under won't need tracking and monies will be released within 2 days of a buyer leaving feedback to show an item was delivered.

This still does not help. As I have mentioned before buyers are not always giving their feedback. This is the case with the two items I have sold. The buyers have emailed me back that they have received their goods but still do not see any release of funds to me.. If the buyer will not give feedback what happens then?

 

There was a time when  the buyer or seller could speak to an agent to help resolve  the problem.

Ebay customers support can not help with this situation, and ebay are aware sellers are not happy waiting for payments.

What action they take if any has  not been made available at this time.
