question about shipping cost displayed on package

Is it possible that the shipping cost is not displayed on the package? I'm asking because according to local law in my country, the basis for customs and taxes is the value of the item plus the shipping cost.

That is a difficult question to answer as sellers can use a variety of methods to send their items.

Royal Mail items sent overseas always have the postage cost on their labels.

Re: question about shipping cost displayed on package

The seller has no control over what the labels say or look like.   They are supplied the way they are.   Some will have the postage cost on them, some won't.   They cannot be changed.

Why not use the words "Free Postage" if your the seller including postage costs into the price.
