promised replacement petrol chainsaw time and again and it has never arrived

purchased a petrol chain saw which on the 8 or 9th occasion of use very nearly caught fire when the outer casing started to melt, I had used all the correct oils and fuel and reported with supplied pictures of the damage to the seller and a few days with their technical people they promised a replacement to be delivered in 3 to 5 days .....it never arrived so I queried this to be told sorry its being post again....never arrived......I asked again  to be told a tracking number was provided and the item should be there in 3 days...again no show now I see the item is ended and no reply to my messages.....what can I do, I purchased the saw on 28th February and have only used 8 or 9 times never running it more than 5/10 mins on each occasion.

It's too late to do anything via ebay but contact your payment provider direct and ask about a refund or chargeback.   Good luck.

Thankyou for your reply, I will have to put it down to experience, looks like the seller used stalling tactics by offering me a replacement only for them to renege on the deal after the 90 day window passed, very disappointed in not being able to speak to an e-bay agent so will probably not use e-bay again, just hope nobody purchases a similar item from this seller to have it blow up on them when in use as I see although ended by hotcocobabyuk these items are still widely available from similar sellers..thanks again for your time. My order was for - Power Petrol Chainsaw 58cc 16.8kw 4 stroke 20 inch bar gasoline wood cutter Saw Set so buyers beware.
