It is not that simple. I think you have to do the whole transaction through either Royal Mail or Post Office, as TARIFF has to be paid in advance, and needs cakculating from the Customs declaration.
Posting to the USA without tariff being paid according to the system would be returned back to you by the US postal system and never get to the buyer.
I suggest asking at Post Office.
