i sold an item for £7.25 it’s been delivered but my balance is only £5.70?? why has ebay taken the postage off of me when the buyer paid it. i went onto the breakdown section and overall the buyer paid £9.81 ( £1.01 B.P.F and £1.55 for postage ) which left me with a total of £7.25 on “what you have earned” but it’s taken off the postage for me aswell as the amount in my balance is £5.70- £1.55 less than what i sold the item for. this is my first time selling on ebay.. im incredibly disappointed and confused.

Ebay have taken a further 1.55 from your balance (7.25 - 1.55 = 5.70).
They take payments for postage from a real balance, rather than any pending funds.
You have 8.70 pending funds.
When that 8.70 becomes available funds, your balance will be 14.40.

You have sold two items, are you sure it is not related to the other item.

it’s coming up with the same for the second item aswell so nothing to do with the second one

You need to look at the item in 'orders' and choose 'order details' from the dropdown menu.
On the right hand side, you will see a detailed breakdown of 'what your buyer paid' etc.
If you promoted your items, then those payments will be visible.
Add a screenshot if you are unclear about the details - the one below is from one of my sales. There is a 'view more details' link at the bottom if it is not clear what you are looking at for your sales.

It does look as if you should have received the whole amount.
Have a look here - it is a breakdown of all your transactions with a bit more detail.

thank you for trying to help- i’ve attached a screenshot of my transactions where it shows £1.55 has been taken out of my balance for a label even though the buyer paid which is still confusing to me.

So, that looks right to me.
Your balance plus your pending adds up to £14.40 which is the amount buyers have paid for the two items you have sold. (7.25 + 7.15)
Ebay have taken for both postages from your first sale.

from my first sale i only have £5.70 in my balance to withdraw ( my second hasn’t arrived yet ) but it should have been £7.25. Ebay has taken postage from my balance aswell as the buyer paying for it? i’m sorry that i’m taking up your time im just
still confused..
