hi im hoping someone here can help me understand what is going on i sell Pokémon cards on ebay and most of my cards are 99p cards which i offer royal mail 2nd class untracked for 0.85p like all the other listings that sell the same kind of cards 

 

so on march the 5th i received a email from ebay saying my funds will be available for pay-out once we receive delivery confirmation 

 

this is a massive problem for me as 95% of my items are sent untracked as i sell 99p cards most the time 

i spoke to ebay and they said it is just a review on my account and not to worry it will clear in 72 hours once they have done this review i then got asked to send my id i then did this Again then they just deactivated my account for 2 hours and demanded invoices of my recently sold items so i sent them invoices of purchase and they reinstated my account i then had to pay 36p to reinstate each listing i had over 100 and was told i would receive these fees back i have not received these back still 

 

i have contacted ebay over 20 times now and i get a different answer to why 1 my account was taken down and 2 why i now have these holds on my sent items one answer was ebay has lost so much money lately to its just a review they do to every account ill have my funds available again in 72 hours to now they are saying every item has to be sent out tracked and if not tracked i have to wait 31 days for the funds i was also told before that if a customer leaves positive feedback then the funds will auto come of hold (they have not) 

 

now i have friends who also sell on ebay and do not have these restrictions on there payments the sell a item and there money is available that night 

 

they are telling me i have to send my items tracked to receive my money how is this fair as i will be outpriced my other sellers who do not have these restrictions 

 

i am a business seller and had my account almost 3 years now i have 100% feedback 177 positive feedbacks i have had over 1000 sales i have only had 2 disputes in the last year both where closed as the customers closed them as they did receive there items 

 

my account health is above standard i have no problems with my account what so ever i do not know what i can do or why this is on my account when its not on other sellers i know i have had to up my postage to £2.70 for tracking and i have had zero sales since i have had to do this its unfair and will crumble my buisness 

 

can someone please help or explain

There does seem to be an issue here as the delay in payments and insisting on tracking is applied to Private sellers since Feb this year, and your a Business seller,so best we tag marco@ebay dave@ebay at ebay see they can sort this for you tomorrow.

Hi @me3kinstcg 

 

Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do to help with this one.  We don't have access to what triggered the change. You should have received an email from the team that handle these queries with the steps to resolve the issue. 

 

I know you already have, but the only advice I could give is to contact CS they should have the access to see what's going on with the account.

Thank you for your reply i have spoken to them on a number of times now and there is no anserw to it even today someone told me they are a simple customer service team they do not know they just keep telling me about the private seller policy but again i tell them im a buisness account not a private seller then they either just repeat what they said or just end the chat on me i am so confused 

 

i did recive a email on the 5th of march when it happened saying i needed to send my id and to make sure i have no open disputes and settle any negative balance 

 

1 i sent my id then got a email confirming its been accepted 

 

2 i have zero disputes i have only had 2 ever opened against me then a day or 2 later closed as they recived there item 

 

3 i do not have a negative balance i have over 1k on hold 

 

and the only expenation i have had to why they shut my account down for 2 hours was that they some time do this
