my ebay app is playing up - when 'clicking' on an ad it opens the description

Ebay app playing up ...it won't let me 'click' buy it now ....it goes straight to showing the item description every time.

My tablet is not letting me update the app anymore , maybe this glitch is related? SAMSUNG S2 TABLET
