my buyer collected but did not have a pin number, I have been paid but cannot confirm it has been collected. I spoke to a representative but they said they could not do anything about it from their end. She asked me to message them which I have done but they haven't replied. How can I mark it as collected?

I have messaged the buyer twice and he has not replied. Seems like an over complicated way to do things, particularly when it was paid and collected promptly with no fuss?

You cannot, the only way is to scan or enter the 6 digit code a buyer needs to bring with them on collection.
Have you messaged the buyer to look through their emails and eBay messages the code should be there. Explain you need this to release the payment for their collected item.
If they send it, enter it in the order details to the left of .... Confirm collection.
If not you may have up to a 21 day wait for the release for the payout.

Yep, it's a new system less than a couple of months in operation, and to be fair some buyers and sellers are not aware of this now essential code, as there's just no other way to mark an item as collected.
Some members have reported that feedback left by the buyer has released payouts sooner, now whether this will work for collection items I don't know.
If your buyer leaves you some contact Customer Services with this information but without that and the code, it may well end up to be a 21 day wait.
