how do i speak to someone from ebay ? also i sent a parcel 2 weeks ago now needing to claim i done it via the ebay simple service (or whatever it is called) so i am wondering what happens after my customer gets refunded, can i claim anything for myself as YODEL (shock) have lost my parcel which i obviously spent money on to sell on for a profit so now i am out of pocket altogether

Yodel is not part of ebay's Simple Delivery so you won't get the benefit of SD's refund system.   You will have to put in a claim to Yodel direct.

Ok i thought they were as i just clicked to create label after making the sale. Aslong as I can get reimbursed then all good

In other words, your buyer pays for ebay protection for nothing as you the seller will have to refund, not ebay.

Another big con trick from ebay.

Ok so to clarify, once buyer opens a case. I click to refund then ebay refund then I claim with yodel directly to get reimbursement

Yes but make sure the tracking on Yodel does not show delivery.    If you didn't use the ebay postage the tracking won't be showing on ebay and the buyer could be taking advantage of that.   

 

If by chance Yodel does show delivery you need to change the tracking on ebay via View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow > Add Tracking on a desktop browser.   If necessary open the original ebay label to mark dispatched first.

 

If none of that is relevant and item is lost you will have to claim from Yodel yourself.
