item for sale doesn't show up in search results

I listed an item for sale but it doesn't show up in search results. I used ebay.nl to create the listing and the item can be sent anywhere in Europe but it doesn't come up in search results unless I search specifically on ebay.nl. Even then there is a message saying "item may not post to the Netherlands"... what's wrong?

Based in Bulgaria using the Netherland site and posting on the UK site.    Account virtually unused since it was  opened in 2012 and details are probably well out of date.

Suggest > Return to your Host/Registered home site to update your account details completely before listing items > www.ebay.nl

Well I'm not based in Bulgaria. The item I'm selling is in the Netherlands. I used to have a Bulgarian address in the past so maybe it's something to do with it. However, I cannot change the country from my account. The country option is greyed out. And no I don't sell regularly on eBay. I think last time was around 2012. I do buy stuff from time to time. Also I don't see why selling would be a problem. Anyway, I'll ask for help on the Dutch forum. I'm not sure how I ended up on the UK forums

This account is based in Bulgaria.

To change country of registration you can only do this through eBay Customer Services,  and open the account in the country of your residence.
