eBay seller using my brand name to sell copied products

Hi All,

I have been selling a product that I have branded for the past 23 years.

I have worked for 23 years to build a reputation and my product name is well known in

the VW T4 community and well recognised. I was recently made aware that a seller on ebay si using my

branding on his listings and the product he sells is not the same as my brands.

This is a niche product that is not well known to many but is well known in the niche,

I have reported the listings to ebay and get a response from ebay AI saying that the listing does not violate their policy. I then escalated only to be told the same thing.

I am very upset at this and would like advice as to what I can do firther to communicate to ebay and get them to act.

I have tried speaking nicely to the seller but they refuse to amend the listing and remove my branding,

Any advice welcome. I do not sell this product on ebay, it is a word of mouth and facebook community that leads to my sales.

You need to register your brand in eBay's Verified Rights Owners Programme, then you can apply for listings that are using it to be removed.

It has to be a brand that you own, and you should also register the copyright it, if applicable (I don't know what the product is).
