eBay feedback reminders arrive before item received.

Hi

I have noticed that eBay is very quick off the mark in reminding me that I need to leave feedback for purchases. Whilst I'm a supporter of the feedback idea I have noticed that if there is a slight delay in receipt of the item then the reminder arrives before the item is received. I wanted to message eBay to ask if the delay between the purchase and the reminder could be slightly increased. Am I wasting my time or does anyone feel the same.

No point contacting eBay, those reminders are sent out automatically and yes sometimes arriving at the most inappropriate times.  It's just a reminder and there are 60 days to leave feedback,  and only if you wish to,  as it is completely voluntary.

You can select not receive those untimely reminders if you wish, just go to your Site Preferences >>  Communications Preferences scroll down to the Edit option beside this:

General Preferences

Feedback

Edit your Feedback notification preferences. Be notified when you need to leave Feedback or Feedback is removed.
