eBay asking for an unreasonable amount of banking information to link account?

Our company has several different eBay accounts covering different branches of our business - for the most recent one we've created they seem to be asking for an obscene level of detail that is bordering on suspicious.

It's wanted us to log in to online banking via a PIN sentry and essentially hand over any and all details that someone would be able to use to gain full access to the account. More suspiciously still we didn't have to do this for any of our other eBay accounts - is something wrong here or is this just a recent change?

We're somewhat reluctant to hand over this sheer level of sensitive bank information and login details - is this for real? I've not followed a link in an email so I don't think it's a phishing attempt but the sheer level of detail they're demanding to link the account is more than a bit suspicious.

If anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

"Our company has several different eBay accounts"

A possible problem is that although you admit to being a business you are holding stocks of and selling brand new foodstuffs on a private account.
