eBay Simple Delivery - Not So Simple! Read This (includes improvement suggestion to eBay).

I recently made a sale and proceeded to book a collection via Royal Mail and have them bring the postage label.

I clicked 'Book a collection' and...nothing. No email acknowledgement to confirm the booking. I then closed my browser as I wanted to uninstall a program and closing the browser was required. When I reopened the browser, I clicked 'Get a pre-paid label' only to realize too late that the 'Book a collection' option was no longer active, meaning I was now stuck with a label that not only required me to drop the item off, but I had to print the label at my expense!

Advice to users, if you want a paperless collection via Royal Mail, you must first click 'Book a collection' and then click 'Get a pre-paid label'. If you get the order wrong it will cost you 30p and a lot of inconvenience!

eBay need to address this as this is not the first time this has happened to me. Free collections need to be available after labels have been generated.

Ebay does not read questions on  here and dies not welcome suggestions.

That is why they make such a mess of most of their new ideas.

Very short sighted policy, as ebay is not a buyer or seller, and could learn a lot if they listened to members.

They do occasionally send surveys to members when they invite comments, but not sure whether they take any notice of opinions.
