combined postage at checkout

I have a eBay shop and have noticed that when buyers buy different items together they get charged postage for each item. Is it possible for the postage to combine automatically at checkout? 

I have looked through my account and cant seem to see a allow combined postage so this may be the issue.

Yes, you can offer this to your buyers.

You need to go to your Site Preferences on your homepage.

Click on  Postage Preferences on the left then you will see where to edit and add that you offer Combined Postage .

thanks for your reply ; i have had a look at the link provided but cannot see any thing that says offer combined postage. I do have business policies; would this change things?
