cant bid because of where i live

i live  in   scotland         also have a house in spain      When in spain sometimes want to buy /bid for e bay items     however when i  try to bid for something  --whilst in spain---   im advised that seller wont post to spain          As i dont want anything sent to spain     how can i rectify this situation    Thanks in advance
