buyer protection fee

It says "sellers don't pay this fee" but they do charge the seller. I've sold a couple of items and they subtract this fee from me and the buyer???

The fee is added onto the price you want for your item so what you receive is minus that addition, ie. the price you wanted.

If you look at any of your sales (orders) you can see a breakdown like the one above.

My necklace was listed for £10.03 + £3.05 postage.

Ebay added on the BPF, then deducted it, leaving me with £13.08p. fees to me were zero.
