When you add your bank account the usual method of verification is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that bank account . Once there,   you report them back to eBay to confirm to eBay they have the correct bank account to send you payout to.

Those micro deposits do not appear instantly,  mine took 5 days to appear, and they are small just a few pence each, easily  missed,  so check your bank account regularly for them.

Items can take 24 hours or more to actually appear on the site.

You only opened your account today, so you obviously are not registered to sell. gBefore you can sell you have to add a bank account which ebay has to verify. Until thst is done you cannot be paid so therefore cannot sell.

You're very welcome and if they do not appear say by mid to end of next week contact Customer Services to send two more micro deposits,  but do wait a few more days.

If you need to later,

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
