Wrong refund?

Items didn't arrive, tracking I paid extra for never worked, seller didn't respond to message. I asked eBay and they said I would get a refund but only a fraction of what I paid has been refunded, despite items stating eBay money back guarantee. The request is apparently closed and I can't get any sense out of the AI assistant. Any advice?  Thanks

Wrong refund?

What's the listing number, and how much did you pay via eBay checkout (any extra payments outside of eBay checkout won't be included in a refund).

Wrong refund?

It's hard to advise you properly when you give so little explanation of what happened.

You refer to "items" (plural) and have recently received two feedbacks from the same seller, for wool related items. My guess is that the seller combined postage, so that both purchases were lost when the parcel didn't arrive.

It sounds as though you only opened one case under eBay's money back guarantee. A single case can only refund one listing. If the items were bought from two, separate listings you needed to open two cases, one for each listing.

If you're still within 30 days of delivery you can still open a second case. There could be a problem because the tracking number will already have been recorded for the item that was refunded. You may need to contact eBay customer support and hope they can find a way around this.

Wrong refund?

Hi, thanks. I bought 2 items (same but different colours) totalling £4.74 (they were £1.99 each but small discount for buying more than one). I paid for Tracked24 postage at £2.79, everything was on the same order totalling £6.69.  I have been refunded £1.98. I can't raise a request on any item now.

I know it's not a lot of money but I paid for a tracked service that never had any information and the seller didn't respond to me, so it's the principle really. If it's my fault for not doing it properly and can't be changed, so be it, I just don't like people taking my money for nothing so thought I would enquire.
