I’ve recently advertised and sold a single loft bed in MDF.
I’ve stupidly not changed the postage rate on this item which I think has been up to 2kg which is obviously not correct with the item actually sold.
the buyer has already paid for both item and delivery but payments are on hold.
I’ve contacted the seller straight away to make them aware.
can I change this? Or do I have to pay the extra fee?

The buyer is not obliged to pay sny more than you quoted on the listing.

I imagine the real postage is a great deal more than for 2kg. Collection by buyer would have been better. You are supposed to pay the difference yourself but no one can force you to proceed if you decide not to. See if the buyer will agree to cancel then a refund will be issued in the process. To cancel click on the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item on your orders page and select Cancel order.
