Wrong address

Sold an item and I sent to address supplied on order. Royal mail could not deliver as address unknown. I put no return address on item.  I contacted buyer who gave me correct address. Contacted eBay and got no advice.

I have sent RM my address and buyers correct address.  Now the buyers wants a refund. Don't see why I should loose out as I sent to address supplied.

Any advice.

What does the tracking show?

If the buyer opens a case stating that the item has not been received, as long as you can prove delivery was attempted to the address the buyer chose when they checked out, Ebay should close the case in your favour.

The fault here lies with the buyer - they should have checked their own delivery address when they paid.

It is very unlikely that Rm will be able to correctly deliver the parcel or return it to you - locating your parcel would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack

Re: Wrong address

My tracking shows Royal mail attempted to delivery but address was unknown.  Buyer claims on there eBay that item has been delivered. I have contacted eBay and they say tracking is showing as undelivered due to wrong address.

Thanks.
