Why the hell do buyers get almost a month to return an item they don't want ?

Ebay just gets worse and worse. One buyer has decided he doesn't want an item he bought and is returning it. I now notice that he's been given almost a month to return it. Why the hell is that. So, I don't have the item and I don't have the funds. I've been with ebay for many years but this is truly appalling and once the item is returned I'm going to stop selling on the platform. This really sucks.

They are not supposed to have nearly a month.  The case ought to time out before then.

Buyers get 30 days to open a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE, but have to use label supplied by hou and post back within 3 days. You do not refund until received back.

They cannot take 30 days before posting as case would have closed or you could have closed it.

You do not accept change of mind returns, so that does not apply.

I think you need to read up on how returns work.

Sure, the guy wanted to return as he felt it was not as described for no good reason after 2 days but now has another 28 days to return the lens which is a complete joke
