Why has eBay changed my listing from delivery to collection only?!

I have just checked on my listing. It has been changed to collection only for whatever reason by eBay. I cannot  change it back to delivery now? So now I have to  cancel  my listing & message the highest bidder that I need to relist the item because of eBay's terrible outdated website which has seen about 2 updates since 2007. Awful.

The postage terms on your listing were revised at 8.52 today.   I can't see what they were before but I have never heard of ebay revising a listing and I don't see why they would.

In all fairness for such a high value item no matter how well you packed it for a delivery,  it could still suffer damage in transit,  as couriers do not handle items with kid gloves.  Items even get thrown over walls and hedges to reach that ' safe spot!'  

In my humble opinion a Collection albeit made by default somehow is the better option.  You are receiving bids , personally I would not end the auction let it run.

Just one tip,  when you get that final winning bidder,  send the a message that eBay will provide a Collection code,  a 6 digit QR number, they Must bring this with them or they item cannot be released.  This code is the only proof you'll have to confirm the item has been collected.  You either scan the code or enter the numbers manually in the order details.
