These are the new rules under eBay's Buyer Protection Fee which was introduced last month.

Hi there, thanks for the reply however I know that ebay have changed the terms on payment, I just wondered why when I send everything I sell by tracked post does it then take a minimum of another two days after delivery to receive the payment, when payment use to be same day. Why can't the payment be the day the item has been delivered or at the latest the day after.

Ebay make the rules, and as a private seller they opt you into simple delivery now,so getting paid is dependant on delivery/collection see ebay announcement here,New Simple Delivery features, community events & o... - UK eBay Community

Well those are the rules,  eBay's rules, and they don't explain the need for a 48 hour delay over a 24 hour one or to be fair to pay the second the item's tracking is showing delivery.

As said,  their rules !  🙂
