Why are some sellers using exact same photos (not stock photos) ?

Hi there,

I need some advice please , I’m new to eBay and  looking to buy a Burberry watch, that I’ve seen a few of on here that are within my price range, for a birthday present for my partner.  I’ve looked at the obvious feedback and some of them do go back quite a few years, and the feedback seems genuine on most (

I did see one that every feedback was identical), but for the most part they appear genuine …but what concerns me is I’m noticing the exact same photos with different ads, I’m not talking about generic stock  photos, for example, the placement of the watch in front of the box with the same label hanging down, can anybody give me advice as to whether these are scammers or genuine? TIA.

No one can give you that guarantee we haven't seen the actual item, and doubt anyone here is a ' Burberry' expert,  and hard to tell where they found those photos.  Identical feedback could be eBay's new feedback whereby they leave feedback if the buyer doesn't after 7 days,  and these are all identical , AI generated.

You must know the price these genuine watches sell for,  so all I can advise,  if the price is too good to be true,  then it usually is.

Burberry is actually a Brand of watch sent to eBay's authentication centre,  buy a Burberry watch from a listing with the Authenticity Guarantee badge.  The watch is checked there for being genuine.

You always have eBay's 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy to fall back for a full refund if you receive an item not received.  The MBG is written on every listing and on this link below for you:
