I have sold an item and was getting concerned as on 'My Ebay' it was showing as 'awaiting delivery'. When I contacted the buyer he said he had received it and had left feedback.
I believe I now have to wait 14 days to receive MY MONEY... why?
I dont think people mind the idea of sellers receieving the item before funds are released, but the whole process/system need to work, which it clearly does not. Two weeks is a long time to wait for money that is rightfully yours.
Also, it is difficult to keep track of the items you have received funds for as the payment is not itemised, just one lump sum if selling multiple items. Add the previous error in to the mix and it is soon even more difficult to work out what items have been paid for.
Ebay needs to rethink this broken and stupid new payment system. It seems fine for the buyer but the seller is at the mercy of everything automated working smoothly... which it clearly isn't.
