Sorry, for late reply, I've just seen this question was unanswered.
The guidelines below are for a laptop and I use Chrome, sorry I don't use the app, it's probably different there.
Go to your Messages tab top left.
Left sidebar click on Inbox.
All messages received will show , and if you have answered the message click on the message received your answer will be beneath, it's all ' one long message now'.
