When seller is no longer at return addres

I retiently returned and item that was faulty via a QR code sent by the seller on 7.11.24  As i  had not received a refund I trekked the item.

When royal mail attempted to deliver it to the address the seller was no longer there. As my return address was not on the lable (as far as i know ) the item has gone missing. I phone royal mail and they told me to contact ebay. I attempted to contact the seller, they are not responding. As usual because it does not show that the item have been received by the seller any attempt at contacting ebay just sends me right back to trekking site.

To sum up:

Item returned via QR code sent by seller

QR code address was vacated by the seller before item arrived

Royal mail told me to contact ebay

Emailed seller who is not responding

Any attempt at opening a case or contacting ebay just sends me back to the trekking page that shows the item is not returned.

My question:

Is there anyway of contacting ebay to let them  know what has happened

As long as tracking shows attempted delivery, escalate case to ebay.

They will sort refund.

Thank you for your reply. My problem is i can't see anything to select. When i select open a case and chose that item it comes up that refund is pending delivery see here and when i select here it takes me right back to the trekking page. I can't overide that. How do i get out of going round and round like this?

Thanks

Have you actually opened an ebay case or just sent item back to seller.

Try contacting ebay with all info.
