What should I do?

Item misdelivered by Royal Mail. They marked it as delivered, but the photo of it on the doorstep was not my door or any of my neighbours. I contacted Ebay who refunded me without quibble. Then a week later parcel turned up at my house. I assume that a kind person who it had been wrongly delivered to, brought it to my home. I can't see any way to contact Ebay and return the refund. My worry is that the seller is now out of pocket when they did nothing wrong.

If it was sent using Ebay Simple Delivery, it would have MARKETPLACE SELLER on the label and Ebay would have refunded you, not the seller.

If it was sent by any other method or you bought from a business seller, the seller would have refunded you.

If that was the case, you could contact the seller and offer to pay again.
