I am getting evermore frustrated with eBay!
First I find out that I cannot consolidate items for a buyer to allow me to give a discount on their postage, but have to get them to pay for each order separate and then issue a refund for the excess postage and secondly, I have to wait nearly 2 weeks to receive my payment due to it being held by eBay because I send items by the cheapest means and without tracking.
I sell slides for £1.50 each, then eBay loads a charge for protection making the item circa £2.20. Then make the seller wait 2 weeks for the payment to be released (of course earring interest whilst sat in their swollen bank accounts). Apparently waiting 2 weeks is to ensure the buyer has no issues! Well what on earth is the buyer protection fee for then?
Why are small item sellers like me being taken for mugs and being put off selling on this platform....or am I missing something?
