We're reviewing your recently added bank account - Ebay payment help

Hello,

I entered my bank details over two weeks ago (29th September) and I am still unable to withdraw my funds as Ebay is 'checking my bank account'.

I have had the £0.01 put into my account by Ebay but I still can't proceed with withdrawing my money from Ebay. Surely this shouldn't take two weeks?

The only reason I can think of is that my Ebay account is new and maybe it takes longer for new accounts?

Just very frustrating as I have made 7+ sales at like £500+ and can't access my money.

Any ideas?

That one pence showing in your bank account,   is eBay checking they have the correct bank account to send your payouts to.

Did you confirm that 1p  back to eBay?  You need to do this before that penny  ' expires'  and you need to request another micro deposit.

This explains how to enter those deposits and how to register your bank account.

Once all registered correct,  you may still be under a hold for your intial payments from sales can be around 21 days.

Re: We're reviewing your recently added bank account - Ebay payment help

Hello,

Unfortunately none of ebay's official advice on this matter seems to be applicable.  The microdeposit was done automatically but ebay never gave me an option to enter and confirm the deposit. I have literally zero options on my ebay to do anything regarding bank account verification as it's still being reviewed.

The banner to verify your bank account and enter the microdeposit amounts doesn't exist on my ebay page and nor does the Verify with microdeposits option.

Clearly something has failed on their end.

I've contacted ebay now and they've referred my case to a specialist to manually verify my bank account, should be sorted in 48 hours but we'll see.

Thanks for your comment.
