Bought a fuel pump from a seller that is clearly Chinese in January 2025. The item was brought in the UK and sold as a UK item therefore I believe that under UK/EU law the item has a 1 year manufacturers warranty against faults. I have used the pump approximately 5 times without any issues, however last week I went to use the pump and it does not work. It is dead - the motor does not turn on.
I contacted the seller to raise this issue with him and he immediately asked for videos of the pump nit working, so along with a friend we set everything back up and took videos. Unbeknown to me at the time, eBay does not allow videos to be sent to links to videos. I informed the seller of this and asked for an email address and he has not responded. I gave them notice that if I did not hear from them I would raise a dispute with eBay but I cannot find anywhere to raise a dispute. Can anyone help, please

I am afraid you are too late to raise any dispute with ebay, and possibly too late to raise one with your funding source too.

Ebay give you 30 days to start a return for a faulty item.
After that, any issues are between you and the seller.
I am sure the seller already knew you would not be able to send a video or open a dispute through Ebay.
If it was a UK business seller, you could write to them or phone them but, as the seller is in China your options are very limited,

You are the second buyer this morning to post about an item bought from a seller in China that has no warranty. Even if it did, it would be worthless. Ditto, whatever consumer rights you may think you may have because the item was located in the UK, if the seller is in China they're liable to be impossible to enforce.
Buying from unknown sellers on eBay - especially sellers in China - isn't like buying from the shops. eBay even warns buyers in the user agreement that "they do not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of descriptions". Who would buy from a shop that stated this? eBay is a jungle.
