Waiting for payment frustrations!

Is anyone else finding it annoying waiting for payment? I have great feedback so there’s no reason for eBay to withhold money for days. Selling should be as soon as delivery is made, or posted. Not three days later. Some people may rely on buying and selling for their income and need the funds ready for next load of stock. To be fair I only sell my old gear but still very frustrating. May start selling elsewhere.

Ebay don't with hold it for days per se, its more of a 48/72 hour hold until delivery is confirmed as opposed to releasing funds the day after a sale. yes its annoying, but its better than ebay withholding funds say for 14 days if you don't upload any form of tracking etc from the carrier.

Ebay have the greatest reach of customers here in the uk and around the world, they know this too. Its all done to protect all parties, its not aimed at you, but we hear of so many cases of shall we say less desirable sellers and buyers who are here to make a fast "buck".

No I disagree. Payment should be made immediately. The receiver and seller can pull a fast one at any time anyway.

I used to receive funds quicker without any issues.

Same for online sales, the seller receives instant payment.

I’m not happy and that’s that! Don’t try and massage eBay’s ego.

No one is trying to massage ebays ego.

It is their site, so they make the policies,

We don't always agree with them, we can only inform you of them.

No one likes payment delay, but can't see it changing.
